New study finds almost 90 per cent of WA vape stores are located near a school
Our new paper published this week in the Australian and New Zealand Journal of Public Health examined vape stores in WA and Perth. The study found that almost 90% of vape stores in WA are located within walking distance of a school, and that vape stores in Perth were seven times more likely to be in low socio-economic areas than in wealthier suburbs. These findings represent an important baseline prior to planned federal reforms on vaping products.

The Home2Health Team within the UNDA Institute for Health Research has won a national award for its evaluation of an innovative pilot program that provides free comprehensive dental care for people residing at Palmerston’s residential program for people in recovery from alcohol and drug use (AOD).
